Quote of the day

As Seph was walking out the door this morning Kate said, "bye bye daddy I love you!" Melts your heart! Of course, I dropped her off at school today and she ran down the hallway, walked into the room, put her bag away, and didn't even turn around to say goodbye. So independent! I miss her already and it's only been 18 minutes since I dropped her off:(

My baby is growing up so fast! Look at those legs! She's going to be tall like Seph with legs that go on forever I hope:) We had such a great morning at the park today!

Kate and I saw hummingbirds in the backyard yesterday so we ran over to Ace Hardware, picked out a feeder, and set it up in the tree. Now we are just waiting for them to appear once again.

Determination and Etiquette

Park City

Seph had a meeting in Park City Utah over the holiday weekend and of course families were invited to join. What a beautiful place to spend the 4th! I can't wait to go back in the winter, rent a chalet up in the mountains, and cozy up next to a fire with a glass of wine. Seph and I do not ski (in fact he is not allowed to ski ever again after his first ski experience at Nagano...he almost killed himself) but we have totally fallen in love with this little ski town. Kate was an angel on the plane and she loved playing with all the other kids at the meeting. She even had her first "crush" on five year old Alex. I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.
