OUR PUMPKIN AT THE PUMPKIN PATCH

We had a blast this morning at the pumpkin patch! It was a bit muddy and KJ's hair would not cooperate :) but I know she loved it! It was such a nice drive to the country side on the most beautiful Texas autumn day. Yet another reason to love the United States! Can't wait for Trick or Treat tonight!

Night Night

I have no idea how this child still sleeps comfortably in her crib but she still sleeps 13 hours every single night surrounded by her animals. If one of them is missing she will immediately let us know and won't go to sleep until they are all tucked in! I don't think she will ever climb out of her crib, but she is definitely going to outgrow it soon!

Goodbye to the Toddler Mullet

KJ was completely bald until last december when she started sprouting the all too adorable toddler mullet. It was getting out of control. I even considered just pulling it back into a ponytail or braiding the back of it and putting her in a Harley outfit for Halloween! Instead, we took her to Sweet and Sassy for a little pampering and her very first haircut. She even got glitter in her hair and a glitter star on her cheek.

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Kate Jensen is two! As you can see the ladybug cake won and I spent hours baking and decorating it. Just kidding! Thanks to THE CAKERY for making the adorable cake! Thanks to everyone that could make it to her party. She now understands that there is a surprise under all the paper and bows...just in time for Christmas! :)

Kate's 2 year check up

We switched pediatricians because my last one was a complete moron! I'm so glad we did because Dr. L was wonderful and so attentive even though Kate started screaming the moment she walked in the door (thanks to Dr. moron) Anyway, KJ is in the 95th percentile for both height and weight and should start slimming down now that she is on 2% milk. She got her flu shot and one other vaccine. Of course, she cried, but when the nurse was all finished and applying sesame street bandaids, Kate very politely said, "Thanks!" One side note...Dr L was shocked at how soft Kate's skin is after I told her that Kate has had a bath almost everyday of her life. As most of you know, I'm a huge advocate of a bath time routine EVERYDAY or at the very least every other day. If you pooped and peed all over yourself all day long, wouldn't you want a nice warm bath before bed?
