Baby Einstein ?

Kate had her 9 month check up a little early because we are leaving for the States next week.  Our little Kate Jensen is not so little.  Here are the stats:  Height 27 inches which is in the 50th percentile, Weight 20 lbs 4 oz which is in the 80th percentile, and our favorite stat, head circumference, which is in the 90th percentile.  So far, all accounts are that the extra real estate upstairs is being utilized.  Kate loves music like nobody's business,  is stubborn like a true Jensen, and observes everything like a true Rooney.  Dr. Che said that she could crawl if she really wanted to, but doesn't really see the need if she can sit and play.  Overall, we're just very pleased that the check up went well and Kate is healthy and happy.

In Training

Our little Kate Jensen is trying really hard to start crawling.  At least that's what we think she was doing in these pictures.  Either she's ready to take off or she's decided to start doing push ups to drop a couple lbs before her weigh in at her doctor's appointment tomorrow.  

Date Night

Once every two weeks Seph and I head out on the town for date night.  This Saturday we really splurged and went to Nobu for dinner and then tried out a new cigar bar afterwards.  Nobu was it's usual fantastic self and the cigar bar was completely dead.  In fact, Seph and I think we were the only patrons all night.  Needless to say, the service was impeccable as we were treated like royalty.  The waiter brought out the humidor for Seph to hand pick his choice of the night.  He even lit Seph's cigar for him!  We are really going to miss the customer service that we have grown accustomed to over the past few years.  Not only will Seph be lighting his own cigars, but he will only be able to smoke them at home due to the ever increasing smoking bans.  I'll save my thoughts on that for another time.

Too long

Okay Okay...it's been too long since I've posted anything.  I really don't even think I sent this link out to anyone in the first place.  So, after ignoring pleas from my friends to have a blog, I've decided to give in and just do it.  After all, I do spend my fair share of time looking at their blogs.  Enjoy!  

Packers

Well, we are pretty sad in the Jensen household.  You can tell this picture was taken before the game.  Kate was supposed to be born on Brett Favre's birthday, but she decided to come a day early.  Seph still has high hopes for Kate because October 9th is Annika Sorenstam's birthday!
